With the experimental development on intense laser field, the ionization phenomena of atom and molecular in intense laser field has attracted more attentions both theoretically and experimentally in recent decade. In this thesis, we briefly introduced the basic concepts of intense laser field, relative atomic experimental phenomena and theories on atomic ionization. With the help of the semi-classical re-scattering model, we investigated the non-sequence double ionization (NSDI) of Neon in elliptically polarized intense laser field and compared our result with the experimental data.A brief introduction to the physical phenomena in intense laser field, specially to the atomic ionization in intense field, is presented in the first chapter. The basics concepts of atomic ionization, the currently development, both on experiment and theory, have been extensively discussed. In the second chapter, we carefully introduced a three-dimensional semi-classical re-scattering model, which is widely accepted and applied in the study on the NSDI of atom and molecular in intense laser field. It's successful application is also presented. In the third chapter, we expend the semi-classical model to the elliptically polarized intense laser field. The NSDI of Neon, in elliptically polarized intense laser field, has been investigated and our result is consistent with the experimental data. Further, the effect of the frequency of the elliptically polarized intense laser field on the rate of the NSDI of Neon has been studied. The summary and outlook along this direction have been presented in the last chapter.
