Ziyouping landslide is locate at Sanyanlong Town,Jiulong County, Sichuan Province,through field investigation, parameter test and theoretical calculation, the stability and the governance of the project design of the landslide engineering geological characteristics,under various conditions were studied, and through the comparison of proposals, put forward specific measures to optimize the design. The main results are as follows:(1) Ziyouping landslide plane to a chair, the main sliding direction is 172°, the lengthwise landslide is about 240m, average width of 160m, the total area is about 0.038km2,the average thickness is 7.04m, the total volume of about 29× 104 m3, belonging to medium-sized landslide.(2) The signs of deformation and failure of landslide mainly include the landslide in the front of the landslide, the transverse cracks in the ground, the staggered sill at the back wall and the staggered platform formed by the ground deformation in the deformed area.According to their deformation characteristics, they can be divided into 2 zones: slump zone and deformation zone. As for slump area, the deformation and failure characteristics are mainly characterized by slipping of sliding bodies and formation of three slumping grooves,resulting in the formation of a continuous through plane of the slumping area. As for deformation area, the deformation characteristics mainly for middle transverse tensile cracks,lateral tensile crack trailing edge regions, the formation of Taiwan ridge and staggered step shaped terrain trailing edge ground fault, the left and right sides of the border and the formation of cracks under longitudinal shear dislocation ridge.(3) In the rainstorm condition, the purple slide landslide is in the stable state.Among them, the most dangerous sliding zone profile is 1-1 'and' 3-3', is less stable, followed by 4-4' section, as the basic steady state, 2-2 'profile best stability is stable; the most dangerous section of deformation zone is 1-1', 2-2 'and 4-4' section, are less stable, 3-3 "section of the best stability as the basic steady state.(4) Comparison of two measurements of the landslide.Measurement one: Anti slide pile support and surface drainage and monitoring . Measurement two: The anchor cable (frame beam) anchor and anti slide pile support and surface drainage and monitoring. Synthesis of two sets of technical feasibility, construction simple and the alternative investment estimation shows that measurement one is better than two. Due to plan one more two more technology feasible, safe and reliable, easy construction, economic and reasonable, so the scheme is recommended for the one, namely"anti-slide retaining wall to drain and surface monitoring" of comprehensive control of landslide.In this paper, the research results of engineering geological characteristics and treatment plan of purple sand landslide can provide guidance and reference for practical projects, and have important practical significance.
