Studying on sound propagation in the ocean is not only the basis to understand and predict various phenomena in acoustic filed, but also plays an important role in deteetion and estimation of target. Compared with the traditional signal processing method with sound pressure , sound pressure-velocity combined treatment can provide more information. Most of existented acoustic model are scalar mode, only can provide sound pressure but can't provide velocity information. This article will give a theoretieal model which can provide both pressure field and velocity field.A model of acoustic vector field that mainly employs normal mode method is established to calculate pressure and partiele velocity in the field under the condition of horizontal seafloor in this paper. The viriual source method is verified through comparison with the results which are derived from parabolic models, After that, based on the established model, The the sound propagation law of acoustic vector field in shallow water is analysed. The analysis is focuses on the acoustic vector field propagate loss and the energy distribution law in space. The model is also used to simulate and analyse acoustic vector spatial correlation, The acoustic environment parameters' effects on acoustic vector spatial correlation have been also analyzed. In this thesis, a mode on acoustic vector field under the condition of slope seafloor with parabolic theory is made. sound vector field subsea environment , the influence of bottom topography on the acoustic vector field is analysed. Based on the parabolic model, the acoustic vector field spatial correlation characteristics were discussed.some simulations in different seabed topography were given.
