There is a vast sea area in our country. Now, our country is coming to a marine power.We recognize the ocean resources are more and more important to the development of our country. Therefore, the development of large marine engineering technology and equipment which using to exploit offshore oil and gas become the important strategy in our country.Submarine pipeline is transportation channel of offshore oil and gas. Only a few countries have deep pipe-laying operation technology. The deepwater pipe-laying is one of the main bottlenecks to restrict the development of deepwater oil and gas resources in China.Our country built "HYSY201". "HYSY201" is the first deep water pipe-laying vessel in the world with pipe-laying capacity of 3000 meters underwater, 4000-ton lift capability and Electric Propulsion DP-3 system. For the goal of program preview, personnel training,reducing the risk of real ship training and improving the operational efficiency, we build offshore pipe-laying crane operations visual simulation system by Virtual reality technology.The operation of the tensioner is the key training project in the process. Building Semi-Physical simulation system of the tensioner is the focus of project development.Semi-Physical simulation platform of the tensioner contains high technical difficulty and complexity .According to two aspects of the tensioner hardware architecture and software development, this paper introduces the composition of the tensioner Semi-Physical simulation platform, establishes the mathematical model of the pipe-laying, designs the tensioner console man-machine interaction interface, expounds the data transfer between the tensioner console and the main system of Pipe-lay. Finally,verify the function of Semi-Physical simulation platform of the tensioner by using the data acquisition system.The main contents in this paper include the design of the tensioner Semi-Physical simulation system and the design of the tensioner remote console. Design the tensioning device remote console panel. This paper introduces the function of components and applications.according to the natural catenary theory to establish mathematical model within the tensioner, according to the operation of the tensioner process using Lab VIEW virtual instrument design software interface of the control system of the tensioner, achieving the data communication between the tensioner control system which developed by Lab VIEW and the main system of pipe-laying which developed by Visual Studio 2005.Using Automatic tension control mode. Calculate the tension value curve and speed change curve in five Working condition. Using NI data acquisition card collects the signal of the console. Ensure that tensioner semi physical simulation system can run normally in the four process of pipe-laying. Verify that the function of simulation system.This subject adopts the tensioner of semi physical simulation method.Establishing a simulation to the control of tensioner in pipelaying.The function of the console can meet the demand of personnel training. It improves the efficiency of the engineering and technical personnel training, and reduces the intensity of the training.
