The habitat soil and the companion plants of 16 Cassia nomame groups in Yanshan Monutain area,as well as mineral element contentes and morphological diversity were studied in this paper.The annual dynamic changes of mineral elements and antioxidant enzymes of five populations were also carried out.The results showed as follows:1.Hygroscopic water contents were different in 16 different kinds of habitat soil,but there were no significant differences among them.The changes of mineral element concentration were:Ca>Fe>Mg>Cu>Zn>Mn>Cr>Pb.2.16 different habitats of Cassia nomame's associated plants,were collected,classified and identified,which belonged to 26 families,75 specials.Among them,the number of Gramineae Poaceae,Leguminosae Fabaceae,Compositae were the largest,the associated plant herbaceous plants were the most,which accounted for 78.67% of the total,followed by shrub type,accounting for 16.00% of the total number of species.There were only 4 kinds of cultivated arbor,accounting for 5.33% of the total number of species.There was no habitat associated plants which showed that Cassia nomame had a strong adaptability.3.Comparative morphological methods to used to measurement and statistical analyze the root,stem,leaf,seed of 17 phenotypic traits among 480 natural populations in Yanshan mountains' 16 individuals.It showed that the seed had the smallest variation coefficient and high hardness prove that it is less affected by the external environment.Variance analysis showed that other phenotypic traits are easily affected by the external environment.4.The variety of mineral elements in the roots,stems and leaves of Cassia nomamenot only made an important part on its growth,but also as an significant manifestation of its nutritional value.The comparison of total nitrogen and phosphorus content in Cassia nomame was leaf > root > stem;the content of total potassium was stem > leaf > root;mineral element content of root,stem and leaf is displayed as Ca> Mg > Fe >Mn> Zn > Cu,while the contents of Ca,Fe and Mg were significantly higher than those of other elements.5.During the growth period of 5 cultivated populations,the chlorophyll content decreased gradually,while the content of MDA showed an upward trend,SOD and POD which were cooperated to ensure the normal growth of plants showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.6.In the Cassia nomame's different growth stages,Cu,Mn and Fe contents in the rise of the flowering stage increased first and decreased after the trend,Zn,Ca,Mg content was first increased then decreased trend;at the end of growth,Cu,Zn,Mn,Fe content decreased significantly,while the Cu rising slowly.In the 5 plant populations of 6 kinds of mineral elements in the root,stem and leaf showed higher content of early,and then reduce at later period,Mineral elements of 6 kinds in roots,stems and leaves in sequence are: Ca>Mg> Fe>Zn>Mn>Cu.
