| Shuozhou,Shanxi Province,Ordos,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Yulin,shaanxi Province are the main areas of China’s highest coal production areas This study extracted and analyzed land use information of 1995,2002,2008 and 2013 from Landsat TM/OLI images by using the method of random forest classification.The results showed that:(1)The change of land use was very severe in the process of urban development in the past two decades.Proportion of built-up land inShuocheng District rose from1.57% to 11.71%,the proportion of agricultural land decreased from 73.42% to69.71%,proportion of forest land decreased from 22.94% to 15.61%,proportion of unused land changed from 0.90% to 1.92%.Proportion of built-up land inDongsheng District rose from 0.53% to 5.50%,the proportion of agricultural land decreased from31.28% to 21.85%,proportion of forest land no more changed,proportion of unused land changed from 62.63% to 65.33%.Proportion of built-up land in Yuyang District rose from 0.26% to 1.82%,the proportion of agricultural land decreased from 13.98%to 21.26%,proportion of water area increased from 0.95% to 3.86%,proportion of forest land decreased from 82.41% to 70.04% and proportion of unused land changed from 2.40% to 3.02%.(2)The random forest method was used to conduct land use classification,and a variety of softwares were used to process the image data before classification.Remote sensing images of three research areas in four phases were classified,and after verification the accuracy under the 500 decision tree method ensured the bag errors were below 0.2,kappa coefficient was more than 0.8,which met the requirements of classification accuracy.And the design of the classification process is clear and easy to operate.However,there are still some problems to be overcome.(3)The processes of land use change in three cities were analyzed,the impact of population and economy on land use change was analyzed as well,and their location as the growth of resource-based city and advantages of Shanxi-Shaanxi-Inner Mongolia coal producing areas were linked.This paper argued that the local land use change was still the main driving force of the second industry especially in the coal industry,the coal industry was the pillar industry of local area,promoting local economic development,and bringing about the direct causes of the local land use structure change,and showed the characteristics of changes. |
