The red weathering crust is the product of the desilication of iron and aluminum in the hot and humid climate,As the change of weathering strength and prolife,the geochemical index and the content of Chemical elements would change.According to the migration of chemical elements and geochemical index changes,we can get therelationship between red weathering crust and paleo environment.Researching red weathering crust in Liaodong peninsula,now we broadened scope of researching into Liaodong peninsula area,and it has important significance in Tertiary.Based on the analysis of the major elements,trace elements,mass transfer coefficient and geochemical indicators of the Qidingshan red weathering crust,the results show that:Bedrock layer to the weathering crust,the chemical of Qidingshan profile indicators showed mutation characteristics.Si,Al and Fe,these three constitute of the main elements during the red weathering crust increases more than30 times.K and Na leached alkaline earth metal also has the big growth in the whole profile.As the Ca content of the carbonate rocks is important but is less,from the bedrock layer to the bottom of the weathering crust,CaO content rapidly reduced,falling nearly 99%.Content of silicon in the two profiles are high,it's over 60%,and the content of Al?Fe are lower.Normal elements such as Si?Al?K?Na?Ca?Mg appears eluviation feature in Shicao profile,elements such as Si?Al appears concentration apparently,whereas,elements like Na?Mg appears apparent eluviation feature,which is reflected by these two element's strong eluviation.the chemical erosion of Qidingshan profile variation,CIA and K/CN(K2O/?CaO*+Na2O?occurred unusual at the certain height of 1 meters and 2.4 meters,which may be due to climatic conditions during this period.Qidingshan red weathering crust of chemical weathering indices showed obviouly fluctuations in the profile,but not reflected the weathering degree of weathering profile from the bedrock to gradually change.The overall profile still has decreased with the depth of soil,then decrease with the increase of the weathering degree.Geochemical index of the vertical variation of Qidingshan profile experienced 4phases which is strong weathering,weaker weathered strengthening-change.we can know that the southern region in Qidingshan climate profile development periods of ancient had experienced the damp and hot-warm wet-pick up hot and humid-warm,moist evolution process.
