The slope engineering is one of the important problems in geotechnical engineering.Slope stability analysis and reinforcement of governance has long been a focus in the study of people subject.Firstly,this paper expatiates on the research status of slope classification,the research status of slope stability analysis,its research methods,and slope protection measures as well.Secondly,this paper introduces the finite element software Midas-GTS briefly,and then a scenic slope as an example in Shenzhen.Based on the actual investigation of the site,we has mastered the engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions of this area,selected reasonable parameters of rock and soil mechanics,and applied Lizheng geotechnical slope stability software and Midas-GTS finite element software to analyze the stability analysis of the slope using elastic plastic finite element strength reduction method.And compared with the analysis of the results of two methods.Finally,according to the stability analysis results of the slope of the slope,combined with the slope supporting standards,we designed the slope support and drainage,slope greening,etc.This paper provides a reference for the stability analysis and reinforcement design for other similar researches.
