Dashushan Mountain, located in the cross of warm temperate zone and north subtropical zone,is the most well preserved vegetation zone in Hefei,is an ideal place for studying main flora in warm temperate zone and its development status. We investigated the distribution and interrelationships of the eight different dominated herbaceous plants in three different micro-topographical units and three different season.By analysis of the physical and chemical indices of soil and the differences in distribution and traits of dominate species,we clarified the plant adaptive strategies to the climate change in different micro-topographical units. In this study, the following conclusions are obtained:1.On the three different micro-terrain units in the Dashushan Mountain,The content of soil C on the foot-slope has the highest value(20.67 ±1.065 mg/g).On the contrary, the content of soil C on the crest-slope has the minimal value(15.92 ±0.921 mg/g),the content of soil N(1.394 ±0.031 mg/g)and soil P(1.116±0.018mg/g)on the crest-slope has the highest value, the condition of soil is good on the crest-slope.The content of the main soil element is greatly influenced by the vegetation which is grown on the micro-terrain units. On different seasons, there were no significant differences in the content of soil content of the three different Dashushan mountain micro-terrain units. The content of the soil C in the three season(spring, summer, autumn)were 18.058mg/g,18.315 mg/g,19.055 mg/g.The content of soil N in(spring, summer, autumn)were 1.159 mg/g,1.115 mg/g,1.121 mg/g,the content of soil P in(spring, summer, autumn)were 0.931 mg/g,0.940 mg/g,0.947 mg/g,respectively.2.The differences in leaf-related traits of the same and different herbaceous plants in the Dashushan area are as follows: the content of specific leaf area, leaf C,leaf P have the minimum value on the crest-slope.The content of leaf dry matter quality and the content of leaf P has the highest value in the foot-slope or the side-slope.In this study, the average ratio of Thladiantha nudiflora leaf N/P was15.35.The ratio of N/P in leaves of Ophiopogon japonicus was 15.73,were between 14 and 16,while were limited by N and P elements simultaneously. The N/P ratio of the eight herbaceous plants in Dashushan Mountain was 29.348 ±10.84> 16,which reflected that the herbaceous plants of Dashushan Mountain were restricted by the content of P element.3.The result showed that the specific leaf area of eight dominant herbaceous plant of Dashushan Mountain has a decreasing trend in the process of seasonal variation. But the degree of decline is not obvious: The content of specific leaf area were 27.997cm2/g,25.675cm2/g,23.375cm2/g.The content of leaf dry matter quality of the majority of herbaceous plants in the Dashushan area has a rising trend with the seasonal variation. In the different seasonal changes, the leaf N and leaf P content of the plant showed significant difference in dynamic variation, and the trend of seasonal dynamics was spring> summer> autumn.4.The trend of leaf traits in the Dashushan area is the result of the influence of various factors. There is a significant positive correlation between the herbaceous plant leaf traits and soil C content in the Dashushan area. And the content of leaf N in most plants was positively correlated with N content in soil. The N/P ratio was negatively correlated with soil C content, and had a significant positive correlation with soil N content and P content.
