It is of great significance to solve the problem of energy supply on remote islands and the power supply of monitoring instruments in the water by tidal current energy generation.The Tidal current energy will not cause pollution or damage to the environment,because it is a clean energy.In recent years,the development and utilization of tidal energy has become a focus in renewable energy research,since it has the advantages of large reserves and predictable power generation.The tidal current energy generation are mostly independent operation,discrete distribution in the no man’s area,therefore equipment run efficiently and timely maintenance is not guaranteed.In order to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the tidal current energy generation,it requires a real-time or quasi-real-time monitoring system.At present,the research on the tidal current energy generation technology has diversified and developed a variety of new power generation device,however,there are serious problems in the data acquisition accuracy,the transmission speed of the communication link and the reliability of the data storage.First of all,the monitoring system is designed by the development unit of the tidal current power generation device and the universality of the acquisition circuit is not guaranteed because the front-end data acquisition use the combination of Holzer and AD circuit;What’s more,the data remote communication link adopts the way of Bluetooth and radio station.It is easy to produce lost number in the data transmission process and the transmission distance is very limited;Finally,the monitoring data using text format or Excel table to store data will cause the inconvenience of data query,analysis and management,once the file is damaged,it can even cause permanent data loss.Aiming at this situation,this paper designs a general remote monitoring system for tidal current power generation device.Mainly completed the following research work:1.The data acquisition module of remote monitoring system use multifunctional power meter for measuring parameters,these intelligent power meter calibration by the relevant state departments to ensure the output of the standard and authoritative.The front-end processor is connected with each electric instrument through RS-485,and the parameters of the instrument are read out by using the MODBUS-RTU protocol.Finally,the data acquisition circuit is integrated and modularized so that other tidal power devices can use directly.2.Two kinds of wireless data transmission schemes are designed according to the problems of data loss and rate slowness in the transmission process.One is based on the ARM development board and 3G router composed of wireless data transmission module,and the other wireless data transmission module is designed by SIM300 module.Finally,by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two programs,choice the one of these methods as the first set of monitoring system options,another way as a backup.3.The database server is used to store monitoring data that can solve the problem of data storage reliability and long term preservation.The real-time monitoring program of tidal power generator is designed by using LabVIEW,through the open database connection to access the tidal power generation device real-time working status and display intuitive and convenient.The remote monitoring system is applied to the 15 KW power generation unit and the 5KW power generation unit,which has been developed by our research group.It proves that the system is practical,stable and reliable.This system can be used as a reference for the design of remote monitoring system for other power plants at domestic and overseas. |
