In recent years, plasma has been widely used in various industrial fields such as plasma heating, plasma stealth, material modification, plasma medical treatment,atmospheric control, etc., and its application prospect is very broad, so that more and more experts Scholars into the plasma application of the study.The atmospheric pressure plasma does not require the support of expensive vacuum equipment, can effectively reduce the equipment investment and maintenance and production costs, and can achieve continuous production. Therefore, in recent years,its practical application has been widely concerned.Arc plasma as the most common plasma under atmospheric pressure, although the research history is relatively long, widely used in industrial processing, made no small success,but its research did not end there. Its further development and promotion of the existence of some problems, we need it on the discharge characteristics of a more in-depth study.In order to study the characteristics of plasma discharge at atmospheric pressure, a series of experimental studies on the arc discharge in the air under atmospheric pressure were carried out. The main work was as follows:1. At the atmospheric pressure of the plasma pulse discharge circuit. A high-frequency, high-voltage high-power inverter circuit based on PWM control, which mainly includes rectifier filter circuit, inverter circuit, drive and control circuit, and made a plasma speaker prototype, and several successful Demonstration.2. The voltammetric characteristics of the plasma arc are measured in detail. The plasma arc voltage current and output power of different distance, frequency, duty cycle and electrode material were tested, and the influence of these parameters on the voltammetric characteristics was analyzed.3. Test the number of photons generated by plasma discharge at different distances,frequencies, and duty cycles. The concentration of nitrogen oxides in plasma, such as NO, CO and so on, was analyzed by means of a tester to analyze the ionization characteristics of plasma and the pollution problem to the environment.In this paper, the effects of different parameters on the discharge are analyzed by the study of arc voltage and the number of photons and so on. The gas composition produced by the discharge of the arc in the air is measured, which helps us to enhance the environmental protection. Atmospheric pressure plasma discharge and further application of the experimental study.
