Non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma jet(N-APPJ) has same advantages, such as low gas temperature, the heavy concentration of active agents, non-pollution and so on. It has great application potentials in many fields, like material science, environment, biomedicine, etc. international and domestic academics have been studied N-APPJ widely and deeply. The researches of N-APPJ mainly focus on three aspects: physical characteristics, chemical characteristics, plasma jet generation and propagation mechanism. In recent years, international and domestic academics have been measured and studied the current, voltage and charge of plasma jet by laser interference, Thomson scattering and line shape fitting, etc. But these research methods are complex and their cost is very high. In this graduation thesis, unique experiments are designed to measure and research the current, voltage and charge of plasma jet and its applications in the biomedical field are researched. The current, voltage and charge of plasma jet are named after plasma jet electrical characteristics. The details workings of plasma jet electrical characteristics are presented as follows:(1) classifying plasma jet according to different driving source. Pulsed-DC power supply and alternative current(AC) power supply are adopted in my experiments. Pulse width of pulsed-DC power supply and gas flow rate will be changed in experiment, and find the relations of these changes and plasma jet electrical parameters.(2) Double-tube constrained plasma device, single-tube constrained plasma device and open-ended plasma device are designed based on physical characteristics of plasma. High voltage electrode is needle electrode and ring electrode, respectively. The devices are thorough by the level, layer upon layer progressive principle, so we can study distribution of electron and electric charge from different aspects.(3) Single-copper ring, Double-copper, ring electrode set on tube wall and connecting ground wire directly are designed based on plasma jet pr opagation mechanism. We can measure the distribution of plasma jet electrical characteristics.(4) All the measured data is tidied, analyzed, and it is turn out that the designed devices and measuring method are entirely feasible, and the effective data of plasma jet electrical characteristics and the relations with pulse width, gas flow rate and spatial positions can be obtained, and basic laws and trend of plasma jet electrical parameters are given.(5) In this dissertation, the experiments of the ant, cotton bollworm and fry handled by N-APPJ are introduced, experimental results show that N-APPJ can kills ant, cotton bollworm and fry. Furthermore, soybean seed are handled by dielectric barrier discharges(DBD) box, and then are cultivated. The results demonstrate that breeding effect is very good.
