Rapid urbanization in Yunnan plateau made small disappear and degradation of wetland, wetland landscape changes need to be further study of small town and recovery. Heqing basin as an example, based on the 1990,2000,2010TM remote sensing images, Google map of 2015 and 1964 topographic map data, using GIS and FRAGSTATS landscape analysis software, choose landscape present situation, the landscape dynamic attitude, methods of landscape pattern index, landscape from the basin, basin wetland landscape and Caohai wetland research the changes overall landscape characteristics, landscape management and recovery. The results showed that:(1) In 1964-2010, the area of cultivated land decreased by 3827.9 hm~2, the road and building lands increased by 157.09% and 127.52% respectively, woodland and grassland area increased slightly, the Wetland is slightly reduced.(2) The whole basin wetland landscape fragmentation, aggregation. In 1964-2010, the area of reservoir ponds increased 150.9 hm~2, and Longtan 153 hm~2. The lake area increased 73.7 hm~2 from 1964 to 2000, reduced 28.8 hm~2 in 2000-2010, canals and swamps no fixed trends.(3) Caohai wetland present the increase of non-uniform in 1964-2015, local residents dependent on the wetland, make the local unique traditional culture, promote the development of the wetland recreation and tourism.(4)Artificial modifications led wetland landscape degredation wile the effective wetlands management under the cooperation among the government, NGO and wetland-related residents made wetland landscape go toward the natural evolution.
