Along with the development of remote sensing technology, remote sensing is regard as a important method to a great of field geological investigations and provide first information in field work. though remote sensing technology using in bed rock outcrop in bare field got better result and was accepted by geologist, the technology that developed in forest and marsh covered area is the hotspot and difficulty.The research arelocated the north Great Khingan in the south foot of yilehuli,where not only Dense forest,mire is development and the outcrop is scarce but also complex terrain and geological conditions, the northern traffic is bad, especially in the northeast region traffic out-of-the-way,it is difficulties to 1:50000 regional geological survey work.The area joint with boketu-chaobuleng Zinc-iron metallogenic belt and xieertala-ganhezhen Zinc-iron metallogenic belt, it is good ground at Copper lead zinc ore but not good at common mineral survey.The paper was based on the Investigation of domain of Geology and mineral resources of 1:5 million Inner Mongolia Gan area, ore-formation information including geophysics, geochemistry and remote-sensing is analyzed in this paper.In the investigation of domain of Geology and mineral resources of 1:5 million Ganhe. yisihan area, Statistical characteristic analysis of remote sensing image is fundamental to image fusion and interpretation, and the quantitative analysis of each band is the premise of image fusion. the first step of the research was data pretreatment to image which include geometry emendation, geography registration and using TM correcting ETM and so on. Through the work of 1:50000 regional geological survey, summed up the regional geological, remote sensing image characteristics of linear structure, circular structure, at the same time, the alteration anomaly information extraction of the district, for the 1:50000 regional geology and mineral resources survey work to provide reliable data.
