Based on the “deep mineral prospecting investigation in Hadamengou gold mine in Inner Mongolia”,the geophysical prospecting is carried out to find gold mine in this paper.Hadamengou gold deposit is located in Jiuyuan District,Baotou City,Inner Mongolia.In recent years,more than 50 gold mine veins have been found in the mining area.However,most of veins have low working intensity in these discovered veins,only shallow veins are controlled and the future of the deep prospecting is uncertain.In order to improve the understanding of metallogenic regularity and guide the ore prospecting in the deep mine area,the geophysical induced polarization measurement was carried out in the mining area to identify the metal sulfides enrichment which is closely related to gold mineralization.The cutting of mining terrain is severe,the fluctuation is large and the traffic is inconvenient.The equipment of time domain induced polarization method is relatively heavy,so it is difficult to carry out work in the mining area.Dual-frequency induced polarization method with its light equipment becomes one of the many ways to find a mine.Through the application research of dual-frequency induced polarization method in Hademengou gold mine,a new insight is provided for future geological prospecting.And the Methods,techniques and application experience of dual-frequency induced polarization method are summarized to establish geophysical prospecting model in this paper.The test section and the actual measurement have verified the effectiveness of this method in the mining area.By comparing the experimental results of different electrode array devices,the middle gradient and dipole-dipole sounding device with high working efficiency and good lateral resolution of electrical parameters are selected in this mine.The prospecting criteria of the dual-frequency induced polarization method are summarized as follows: relatively low resistance corresponds to high frequency anomaly;the distinct gradient belt from relatively low resistance to relatively high resistance corresponds to the high frequency anomaly.The apparent frequency Fs can reflect metal sulfide enrichment in the deep area;the apparent resistivity ?s can reflect the underground rock,strata and structure information.According to the prospecting criteria,a favorable target area for mineralization is found in the unknown area.In addition,the terrain inversion method using RES2 DINV electrical inversion software is discussed in this paper,and the editing and generating method of data file is introduced in detail for the users who don't have software data interface.At present,geophysical method has become an indispensable means in mineral exploration and geological survey.In order to achieve better application effect,it is necessary to carry out more discussion and further research in the practical geologicalprospecting work.
