The Dual Frequency Induced Polarization is put forward andrealized by academician He Jisan of Central South University. Whether intheory and method, or in the development and the realization of theinstrument, it has acquired revolutionary success. The thesis aims tointroduce the principle and method of the Dual Frequency InducedPolarization method, observation blueprint, the definition of observationparameter, prove equivalent of time domain and frequency domain, andthe application of the Dual Frequency Induced Polarization method, etc.,in order to demonstrate the excellence of the Dual Frequency InducedPolarization method. The thesis further discusses one of the problems ofthe data processing of the Dual Frequency Induced Polarization method-the forward problem. The thesis mainly studies the following threeaspects: the domains discrezation, the discretization of the VariationProblem and cells analysis. Finally it tries to design the system of dataprocessing of the Dual Frequency Induced Polarization method byadopting the advanced computer technology and the advancedprogramming language. Because of the time, the thesis only adopts thepractical two-dimension as an example, systematically designs somemodules of data processing and realizes some modules of program. Itgives a good foundation for the future studies of the Dual FrequencyInduced Polarization method in the system of data processing and in order to gain extensive application in geological tasks, such as the search of mineral resources, groundwater, petroleum and underground wealth, etc.
