A systematic study is performed on radio properties of H2O megamaser host Seyfert 2galaxies,through multi-band radio continuum observations at 11cm,6.0cm,3.6cm,2.0cm and 1.3cm by using the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope within total time duration of four days.35 galaxies with positive H2O megamaser detections and 25 galaxies which are devoid of H2O megamaser detections were observed.Preliminary data reduction was performed with CLASS software and the final reductions with opacity correction, gain correction and calibration were done with TOOLBOX software.Luminosities for each sources at each band were calculated respectively and, assuming a power law dependence, spectral index(Sv??-?)were determined for which measurements exist at two adjacent bands.Comparisons show no evidences that could possibly distinguish megamaser Seyfert 2 galaxies from those non-masing ones in spectral index. However, difference in radio luminosity is statistically significant,i.e.the maser galaxies tend to have higher radio luminosities by a factor of 2 to 3 than the non-masing ones, commonly reaching value above a critical threshold of 1029 erg s-1Hz-1.In addition,a small sample is selected by the critical threshold of 1029 erg s-1Hz-1,and a pilot survey for H2O megamaser with Effelsberg 100-m RT was successful.
