In the process of large-scale infrastructure construction and urbanization,there are inevitably many kinds of geological disaster problems,which pose a serious threat to the life and property of mankind in the southwest region,which is characterized by large landforms,complex geological conditions and fragile ecological environment.Therefore,it is very important to research,evaluate and control the geological hazards.Based on the investigation of geological disasters in Eryuan County,Yunnan Province,this paper builds up the geological disasters in Eryuan County,Yunnan Province.Based on the investigation and research on the characteristics of the geological disasters and the distribution of the time and space,And puts forward the corresponding prevention and cure suggestion.The main results of the paper include:1.There are landslides,collapses,Debris flows and ground subsidence in Eryuan County,including 189 landslides,66 collapses,115 Debris flows and 5 ground subsidence,accounting for 50.40%,17.60%,30.67%,1.33% respectively.2.Eryuan County geological disasters in the development,distribution,activity space and time there are significant differences.In the western Heihui River Basin,the geological disasters are more developed and the activities are more intense.The disaster and dangerous situation are heavier,while the development and activities of the geological disasters in the eastern region are comparatively weak.From the time point of view,the formation of geological disasters,activities concentrated in the rainfall every year in May to October,which June to September for the geological disasters,especially debris flow activity is most concentrated,strong season.3.The occurrence and development of geological hazards in Eryuan County are closely related to the geological environment conditions.Geomorphic and terrain conditions control the geological disasters especially.The geological tectonics,especially the regional trunk faults,also play an important role in controlling geological disasters.The geological disasters in the fault zone are mostly belt-like intensive development.4.According to the principles of geologic hazard analysis and the main factor of zoning evaluation,the authors select the disaster development characteristics,engineering geology rock group,geological structure,geomorphology type,annual rainfall,terrain slope,soil erosion degree,vegetation coverage rate and human engineering economic activity.The eight factors were used as the judgment factors of the prone areas.By using the MAPGIS spatial analysis function,the factors were calculated and the hazard-prone regions of the county were divided into four grades and twelve areas.And on this basis,using geological hazard risk coefficient method,the county geological hazard zoning for three 13 districts.
