China is a country of landslide problems, the losses caused by landslids each year are immeasurable. The method ever used for landslide stability analysis is a kind of two-dimensional analysis method essentially based on the theory of limit equilibrium, without considering the strain softening properties of slide soil and the space effect of landslide. This paper aims to search for a more complete landslide stability analysis method. Through the study of the shear properties of slide soil and the three-dimensional landslide stability analysis method, the main results are as follows:1?Combining the assumption of column force with the theory of limit equilibrium, a new type of three-dimensional landslide stability analysis method based on the theory of limit equilibrium theory is proposed;2?Through the detailed study of several shear constitutive model, a three-stage shear constitutive model which can consider the influence of strain softening and residual strength is proposed;3?Combining the three-stage shear constitutive with three-dimensional analysis method based on the theory of limit equilibrium, a three-dimensional landslide stability analysis method which can consider the influence of strain softening is proposed and the shear strain distribution of the column's bottom is determined;4?Two kinds of three-dimensional landslide stability analysis programs are complited, which are considering and not considering strain softening respectively. Through the classic examples,we can conclude that the method's results of no softening are close with results of the three-dimensional slopes stability analysis using the rigorouslimit equilibrium method,the method's results of softening are 10% to 15% smaller than the method's results of no softening;5?Combining those softwares such as Sketchup with Geological exploration data,we build a three-dimensional model for Zhang Zebao landslide.Innovations:1?A three-stage shear constitutive model is proposed,which can be used to describe the strain softening properties of slide soil;2?Combining the assumption of column force with the theory of limit equilibrium, a new type of three-dimensional landslide stability analysis method based on the theory of limit equilibrium theory is proposed;3?Combining the three-stage shear constitutive model with three-dimensional analysis method based on the theory of limit equilibrium theory, a three-dimensional landslide stability analysis method which can consider the influence of strain softening is proposed;4?Based on the three-stage shear constitutive model, the shear strain distribution of the column's bottom is determined...
