In the practice of industry and biology,when we simulate the complicated flowing of fluid,a few numerical challenges occur,such as the processing of polymer,ink jet printing,humans' and artificial organs.The flowing is monitored by Mass Conservation,Conservation of Momentum and Conformational Equation.The thesis numerically simulates several classical issues of viscoelastic fluid by using finite element method and compares the relative theories' analysis results,to verify this method's adaptability and reliability.In the numerical simulation of viscoelastic fluid flowing,the thesis focuses on two classical issues to verify.First,the issue of viscoelastic fluid's steady flowing.This thesis analyses the Oldroyd-B fluid flowing when going through cylinders.Because of the flexibility of discrete element interpolation function configuration and the COMSOL's convenience,GLS4 is used to simulate this issue.Second,the issue of viscoelastic fluid's transient flowing.Research the change of viscoelastic fluid's single drop in the Newtonian fluid and the drop's changing features in the air.These research methods can be extended to other fluids' combination. |
