Because of the increasing complexity of the socio-economic environment, nowadays many decision-making problems are multiattribute group decision making problems. The characteristics of these group decision making problem are that a group of experts will make decisions for a set of finite feasible alternatives on a set of criteria, and then choose the best alternative by comprehensive analysis. Many multiattribute group decision making theories and methods have been applied to the fields of management science, social science, and industrial engineering. The structure of this paper can be stated as follows:Taking hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets(HFLTS)with probabilistic information in multiattribute group decision making as the research object, the paper provides an induced hesitant fuzzy linguistic probabilistic ordered weighted averaging(IHFLPOWA)operator, proves that the operator is monotonic, bounded and idempotent, furthermore, based on the operator we present an approach for hesitant fuzzy linguistic multiattribute group decision making with probabilistic information.1.Consensus reaching process can be seen as a collaborative process in which a panel of decision makers or experts reach an agreement on developing and supporting an alternative representing their best interests. We propose a consensus reaching process for multiattribute group decision making problems in linguistic environment. The evaluation values of experts take the form of 2-tuple linguistic values. An algorithm is utilized to convert the unacceptable 2-tuple linguistic evaluation values into the acceptable 2-tuple linguistic evaluation values.2.Combing probabilities with hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets,we propose the IHFLPOWA operator. The operator first aggregate the linguistic variables in each HFLTS with probabilistic information into a single linguistic value by the linguistic probabilistic(LPA)operator, and then reach a final result by the induced ordered weighted averaging(ILOWA).We prove that the IHFLPOWA operator is monotonic, bounded and idempotent and study the measures for characterizing the weighting vector of the IHFLPOWA operator.3.Based on the consensus reaching process and the IHFLPOWA operator,we present an approach for hesitant fuzzy linguistic multiattribute group decision making with probabilistic information.
