In recent years,tourism is developing rapidly as a new industry,and travel trade has played an increasingly important role in the national economy.Map of scenic spot,the critical information of a pleasure tour,supplies tourists with clear orientation and sub-sites' internal information.Due to the degree of artificial planning,the scenic map is characterized by surface elements' disperse distribution and line elements' twist and disorder,which made directly by the collected data will bring cognitive difficulties to tourists.For these reasons,the thesis,on the base of the existing problems,puts forward a automatically generated map guided by the scenic region with the vector data(line,polygon)by field measurements or vectorization methods.Specific work mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Segmentation of polygon groupsThe vector data of scenic area consists of three parts: line elements of road,surface elements of buildings or others,and point features of virtual sub-spots.Among these,the surface elements represent the artificial buildings,different regions of the plane group represent different sub-sites,and the sub-sites need to segment in order to highlight their inside information.Based on Delaunay triangulation network,the thesis proposes the Delaunay triangulation's segmentation algorithm of plane group.(2)Reducing dimensions of polygon elementsCartogram-generation algorithm uses the line elements as operation objects,but polygon group own the particularity of its shape,size etc.To facilitate the arithmetic processing,the thesis adopts the algorithm of smallest enclosing circle to find out minimum circumscribed circle of splitted sub polygon group,substituting the center for the group.Abstracting a single point from plane group,two dimensional surface elements reduce to zero dimensional point elements.(3)Mapping polygon elements to the lineAlthough polygon elements have been abstracted as a point in the process of area features' dimensionality reduction,the point is not on the line elements in general.So as to transform polygon elements synchronously during signal process of line elements,the thesis finds the minimum distance of the center and line element as the mapping point of polygon group.The results accord with the human visual cognitive habits.(4)Schematic processing of line elementsIt is not necessary for tourists to get high-precision circuit diagram,they are more concerned with the location information and orientation relationship compared to the detailed circuit diagram.So,referring to the mapping methods of the subway schematic circuit diagram,the thesis replaces the zigzag conspectus connecting the sub-attractions with simple hyperbolic,which is eight-direction straight line normalized from line elements.The processing method is keeping in the cerebral judgment of position relation,providing more intuitive direction for tourists.(5)Experimental verificationAccording to automatically generated method of the scenic roadmap proposed in the thesis,we designed respectively segmentation experiments of vector data,dimension reduction and mapping experiment of polygon elements,schematic test of the trunk road,and automatically generated experiment of final sketch map.At last,the thesis validated the proposed automatic generation method combined with people's demand for scenic map.
