Mt.Laotudingzi was widely developed rock stream periglacial landforms in valleys zoo in Liaoning easten mountains.The special soil-plant system of Mt.Laotudingzi has the function of the stability for the matrix encironment of the rock stream periglacial landforms.Based on this,take the forest community in Mt.Laotudingzi of Liaoning easten mountains as the research object in this paper and based on the field survey data of 24 plots,we divided the forest community types of the rock stream periglacial landforms scientifically,and analyzed the baisic feature of forest community in rock stream periglacial landforms systematically,and at the same time,we made quantitative analysis of correlation of the soil-plant system.The results are as follows:(1)The 24 forest association of the rock stream periglacial landforms could be divided into 14 formations,merging as brodleaved deciduous forest,mixed broadleaf-conifer and dark coniferous.(2)Basic characteristics of the forest community of the rock stream periglacial landforms in Mt.Laotudingzi:canopy density of the tree layer in the three forest types were all 0.8,tree height 13.5,13.6,16.4 m,DBH 19.3,18.6,20.4 cm and crown breadth 5.8?6.2?5.2 m,respectively;Density of the shrub layer were 1.3,1.2 and 1.4,tree height 96?126?110cm,branch diameter 1.0,1.3 and 1.2,crown breadth 63.9,79.2 and 81.9,respectively;Cover degree of herb layer were 56.2,69.3 and 56.7,tree height 20,10 and 8cm;Richness indexes of three forest types were 38±10,40± 11 and 31±8,Shannon-wiener indexes were 1.6±0.3,1.7±0.3 and 1.3±0.3,Simpson indexes were 0.7±0.1,0.7±0.1 and 0.6 ±0.1,and the variation coefficients exhidited morderate variability;Similarity index values varied between 0.037 and 0.530,and they were concentrated in two intervals of 0.25-0.5 and 0-0.25;The scales of phaenerophyte were 47.9%-56.5%,chamaephyte were scarce not be seen,hemicryptophyte were 16.5%-24.0%,geophyte were 22.4%-24.8%,and annual plant were very small.(3)The litter standing crop of the three forest types of the rock stream periglacial landforms were 12.4,12.7 and 16.3 t/hm2,respectively,and the litter layer thickness were 4.9?5.5?10.5cm,respectively.From a general view,the nutrient storage of the litter in mixed broadleaf-conifer had more.(4)The soil type of the rock stream periglacial landforms were mountain dark brown earth and broen earth.The thickness of soil layer was 17.6 cm,and the soil pH was 4.9,belonging to the acidic soil.Soil electric conductivity was 103.6?s/cm and soil salinity was 53.8,and the topsoil temperature was 16.6? and the soil temperature was low.The soil contained a variety of oside,and SiO2,CO2 and Al2O3 levels were higher of it,and the variation coefficients exhidited morderate variability.(5)Correlation analysis showed that the basic characteristics of the forest community had no significant correlation with the litter amount and a certain relationship with the litter nutrient reserves and a complicated correlation with the soil properties.The basic characteristics of the tree layer had an obvious correlation with the soil nutrient and the shrub layer and the herb layer had no correlation with the soil nutrient.
