Working with high efficiency is significant task in both industrial production and daily life.Recently,how to improve our life by virtue of harvest of the science and technology becomes more and more important.Quantum heat engines,which have potential applications in improving the efficiency,is a hot topic.Different types of quantum systems are applied as working substance,in different cycles,and the performances are analyzed.In this thesis,after reviews on the background of quantum heat engine and introductions on the basic concepts,classical Diesel heat engine is generalized to quantum case and the performances of the quantum Diesel heat engine are studied.In chapter 1,the development background and current status are introduced.In chapter 2,theoretical knowledge which are related to the following studies,are presented.Similarities and differences between the classical and quantum thermodynamics are compared.In chapter 3,a quantum Diesel heat engine,which is composed of two quantum processes,a quantum isobaric process and a quantum isochoric process,is established.Here the working substance is chosen to a single particle in 1D box.After studied the performance such as the work output,power,efficiency and efficiency at maximum power,it is found that when the adiabatic index is fixed,the efficiency for the classical and quantum Diesel heat engine are coincident,and the optimal working areas are obtained.Moreover,the effects of ensemble mixture on the quantum Diesel heat engine are discussed and it is found that the ensemble mixture reduces the power.Based on these results the studies are extent to the single particle trapped in 1D power-low potentials,in which the energy spectrum have the form of En?L?=BL-?n?,and some results in this case are obtained.Finally,the conclusion for the quantum Diesel heat engine are proposed,and the prospects are analyzed.
