Manganese is the main metal element in the earth's crust. It is widely distributed in nature. It is the main metal mineral which is related to the national economy and the people's livelihood. According to the U. S. Geological Survey Bureau released the latest "mineral commodity summaries 2014" report, China's manganese ore stone production amount in 2012, ranking third in the world. In Songpan- Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province is one of China's major ore origin and development of Permian Triassic sedimentary type and sedimentary metamorphic type manganese deposit. Heishui and other places in manganese ore reserves, many of the results of previous studies, and is located in Garze- Litang tectonic belt in the southern section of the Muli Permian Manganese reserves are relatively less, did not get enough attention, this paper to modern geology, tectonic geology, sedimentology, mineral learn as the theoretical guidance, following points are obtained through the analysis of the causes of Permian Manganese Muli area:The study area is located in the Garze- Litang fault zone tectonic belt of the south, is an important tectonic belt of manganese. Ore layer output has a fixed horizon Permian Kawenggou formation, and along the horizon to extend stable orebody.According to lithology, lithology and sedimentary characteristics, In the lower Permian Kawenggou formation was divided into the schist(P1kl) and clastic P1k2. Among them, clastic rock section(P1k2) division for four sub segment.(P1k2-2) lithology is mainly a set of clastic rocks, dominated by the grey silty slate sedimentary, thin to thick bedded structure, manganese ore body of ore bearing strata. The enrichment mineralization of surrounding rock and manganese is closely related to the mineralization of the surrounding rocks. The mineralization of brown iron can be used as a macro prospecting marker in the area. The carbonation zone for judgment on the basis of one ore phase, for the direct prospecting marks.Manganese ores of H, O isotope composition projection point is located between the magmatic water and metamorphic water and meteoric water, closer to the magmatic water and metamorphic water, suggest that the ore-forming materials mainly derived from magmatic water and metamorphic water, atmospheric precipitation and groundwater to provide mineral sources occupy a secondary position, but are also involved in the mineralization. A large number of lithologic characteristics and inclusion temperature measurement show that the ore forming temperature should be medium low temperature.Study area area, situated in Garze- Litang deep water in the southern part of the basin and belongs to the whole of the deep-water basin shelf in the transition region, overall environment is conducive to the deposition of manganese element, due to the closer to the ancient land position, affected by the terrigenous deposition, deep-water channel turbidite deposition of manganese ore source layer formed adverse, restricts the thick layer of deposited manganese.In the Late Permian, the rapid expansion of Garze- Litang line to form a new ocean basin, the formation of manganese deposit, the ore source layer. Triassic world subduction of oceanic crust of island arc and active period for deep manganese and ore source layer manganese element activation and migration to provide dynamic conditions and favorable metallogenic tectonic positions in the initial enrichment and mineralization. Three during the development of the continental convergence fault zone at the end of the Permian period, the asymmetry of the active, migration and enrichment of the dispersed Mn elements in the ore source beds provided the dynamic conditions and heat source conditions for the activation, migration and enrichment of the dispersed Mn elements in the source beds. During the period of continental convergence, the development of the fault is the main period of the formation of manganese deposit. Late Yanshan to Tertiary period, by the India plate collision and convergence effect, the corresponding formation of sedimentary type and with the Yanshan Himalaya period of magma activity formed a shallow low temperature hydrothermal deposit.
