With the rapid development of economy in our country,the demand for resources and energy is growing.Meanwhile, the development of the world economy faces the increasing consumption of natural resources.Therefore, providing security of the resources and energy is an unavoidable problem in human progress.The number of mines of resources crisis that climbed sharply in recent years makes up Two thirds of the whole mines at present.Because of the shortage of gold resources and available reserves of mines,the gold has been the one of shortage minerals.Therefore, strengthening the research of genetic mechanism and metallogenic model of the gold deposits is of great practical significance.Ganzi-Litang structural zone is a huge Au- polymetallic metallogenic belt.This belt is from north to south across Yushu in Qinghai,Manigange,Ganzi,Litang,Mula and Muli. Although Large number of the gold deposits and dots have been found after decades of the geological exploration work, overall research degree is low and most of gold deposits and dots have only been researched at the preliminary exploration work. For the prospecting breakthrough in this zone, this paper has a summary on the tectonic geology characteristic and metallogenic regulation of the gold mineralization in the north of Ganzi-Litang structural zone,according to the regional geology investigation and previous research achievements for the gold in this zone.Based on the systematic field geological survey, the tectonic geology characteristics of the typical gold mineralization in this zone are introduced separately and compared.It is summarized that the spatial distribution of gold deposits and dots are abviously controlled by the ductile shear zones that are performed at the movement of the NE-SW thrust type In last Indonian- early Yanshan Stage and the NW 一 NNW 一 WN strike-slip shear typy.The ductile shear zones are products on the condition of the reverse thrust structure at the late stage of subduction and collision beTween Yidun island arc and Yangtze plate. Wall rocks of the orebodies can be found the wall rock alteration such as iron- dolomitization, sericitization,fuchsition, carbonation and graphitization.The shape and occurrence of the orebody is under the control of structure.The interlayer fracture zones and fissures that are pathways of ore fluid and places of ores control the distribution and scale of the orebody. Secondary structures, faults and fissures what are developed in this zone are conducive to migration, accumulation, filling, metasomatism for ore fluid and formed N-S,NE-SW ore-bearing zones.Meanwhile,,they provides profitable fields for the later mineralization.
