The number of area mine mining depth in Sunan mining has reached 800m, deeper area is still in the exploration stage.7 coal seam is one of the Sunan mining area of main minable coal seam, mine production data and deep exploration data showed that thickness of 7 coal seam changes a lot, it affects the coal mining and excavation engineering layout and mining methods. The study of coal seam thickness variation characteristics and its control factors have certain guiding significance to the coal resources exploitation in this area.Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method, summarizes the characteristics of geologic factors in mining area affecting the thickness change characteristics of coal seam and epigenetic and primary changes, qualitative analysis control effect of geological factors on 7 coal seam thickness, and to sort through the main controlling factors of gray correlation degree to 7 coal seam thickness effects. Results show:1. The thickness of 7 coal seam in the places is thick-thin-thick in the plane with the direction of NE-NW, and the number is I, II, III, respectively. Variation tendency of coal seam thickness in different parts of the region is different. I belt subdivided into three NW-SE direction sub anomaly zone with two more than lm secondary thickening belt clip and a less than 1m of the secondary thickening belt. There are five island traps in the abnormal area of the southeast of the III belt. The largest anomaly in the center of the island traps is 8m. The thickness of the coal seams in the ? belt is lower than the others, there are three non coal zones developed.2. The plastic rheology of the 7 coal seam in Sunan mining area under the double action of the southern fold and the layer slip structure. Area thickness of coal seam by the late tectonic formation and host Sunan fold axial and Xisipo slope thrust to consistent with the three coal thick strips. The changes of the thickness of the local thickness of the I and III belt in the secondary fold and the middle and small shear layers. The layer slip structure changes the thickness change of the small range of the 7 coal seam in different action form, the overall thickness of 7 coal seam is lower by the river erosion, and even has no coal zone.3. The level of the influencing factors of the 7 coal seam thickness control in the mining area the geological structure> thickness of Xia Shihezi Fm> Size of clastic rock of roof. It shows that coal accumulation of coal by late tectonic transformation of the role of formation of NW-SE to coal thick strip, river erosion makes within the mining area of local coal seam thickness thinning.
