Reptile's hatching days, hatching rate and hatchling's phenotype, growth and survival rate even cognitive ability can be affect significantly by incubation temperature. This study used Eremias argus based on its nest-temperature, rised in the average incubation temperature and hot waves, with the purpose to exploring how warm and hot waves affect eggs hatching, phenotype and growth of juvenile, especially cognitive ability on Eremias argus.Collected pregnancy Eremias argus and raised them in suitable conditions until spawning. Measure the eggs and numbered them, then hatching under the three temperature condition design of experment. Statistics the hatching days and hatching rates, measure the body weight and SVL of newborn, check whether have deformity or not and take notes. Feeding the juvenile in suit environment, test learning ability after two weeks, identify the sex after 30 days, count survival rate. Measure the weight and SVL again after 50 days, then let juvenile into fence in the field.1 Hatching rates(HR) and hatching days (HD)This study incubating 101 eggs in total (C:34 eggs, W:34 eggs, H: 33eggs),incubationed 78 juvenile. Incubation temperature had no influence on HR, but had significantly affect HD(F2,98=569.545, P< 0. 001). Compared with group C, the HD in W and H was significantly shorter.2 Phenotype of juvenile Eremias argusThe body weight of the hatching had no significant among three temperature treatment, but the SVL was very significant (F2,98=569.545, P< 0.001).Post Hos shown that the SVL of Eremias argus incubatied under nest temperature was significant longer than warm and hot wave. Therefor,in this study incubatied more male(? 28/?39), but the sex ratio among incubation temperature had no significant(x2=0.654, df=2, P> 0. 05). Under the condition of hot wave the juvenile had deformities, three of them had tail malformation.3 Warm and hot wave effect on survival rate and growth of hatchingThe survival rate of juvenile during 30 days since hatched was close to the significant (x2=5.735, P=0.057), the survival rate of warm (W) and hot wave (H) is higher. The juvenile growing 50 days had difference in weight and SVL under different incubation temperature. The result is body weight was significantly in different incubation treat (F5;29=4.506, df=2, P=0.020); had no significant in sex; Incubation temperature treatment and sex interaction had no significant effect on growth of its weight. The C treat and H treat had significant in weight (B=0.266, P=0.005),shown that experience hot wave can improve juvenile's growth.Under different of incubation temperature treat the lizards larval SVL had no significant difference. But the SVL of juvenile between C and H was siginificantly (B=0.2549, P=0.021). Therefor, it had significant in sex closely (F5,29=4.092, df=1, P=0.053).4 Learning abilityNumber of escape in three kinds of incubation temperature treat close to the significant (x2=5.925, df= 2, P= 0.052), parameter estimation shows that escape number in treat C and W had obvious significant(B=0.613,x2 =4.604, P=0.032); there had significant in test times(x2=32.856,df= 15, P= 0.005); parameter estimation shows that with the increase of the number of test escape number was increasing, medium-term more prominent.Error number had no difference between the different incubation temperature treat, but significant difference between the test times(x2 =29.731, df= 15, p= 0.013), and with the increasing of test times, error number gradually reduced. In addition, the number of errors with the escape whether success or not was relations(x=9.039, df=1, P=0.003), shown that the successful escape fewer mistakes. The testing time had significant difference in different incubation temperature(x2=8.540, df= 2, P= 0.041), W treat's test time was significantly less than C treat. No significant difference on the number of test and testing time, but also showed the trend of decreasing with the increasing of tests.
