Receptor-Like protein Kinases(RLKs)are a class of wide spread protein kinases in plants.RLKs play important roles in many aspects of plant growth and development,plant defense response against pathogens and adaptation to environmental signals.There are at least 223 leucine-rich repeat RLKs(LRR-RLKs)in the Arabidopsis genome,which is the largest subfamily in RLKs.In recent years,with the rapid development of physiology,biochemistry and molecular genetics,great progress on LRR-RLKs has been made.Pollen tube is an important plant organ during a reproductive process in angiosperm.Root hairs play important roles in nutrient acquisition,water uptaking and interaction between plants and soil microorganisms.Drought stress is also a vital factor in the growth and development of crops.Therefore,research on the molecular signaling pathways of these aspects,specifically the research on LRR-RLKs which play key roles in the cell-cell and cell-environment signal exchanges is even more important.The expression pattern analysis of pollen tubes,root hairs and drought stress of LRR-RLKs in Arabidopsis thaliana can be used as a reference and direction in the later research to help study the in-depth function and mechanism.In this thesis,we analyzed the expression patterns in pollen tubes and root hairs of all LRR-RLKs.In addition,we also carried out expression analysis of 223 LRR-RLKs Promoter::GUS transgenic plants under two water potential conditions.The results showed that 24 out of 223 LRR-RLKs express in the pollen tubes 4h after germination in vitro,80 LRR-RLKs express in root hairs of two-week seedlings.Compared to the control,the expression levels of some genes in guttations,cotyledons,roots or vascular bundles of the two-day seedlings after treated with-2Mpa sorbitol for one day changed significantly.We speculate that these genes may be involved in plant reproductive growth,root hairs development or perception of plants to drought stress.
