Objective: To explore the adverse effects of X-ray on Mortality and body weightand Pancreatic tissue structure, the effects of X-ray on serum insulin content, serumpancreatic amylase and total antioxidant capacity activity of mice, the expression ofNF-KB in Pancreatic.Analysis the effects of X-ray on Pancreatic tissue secretionfunction.Methods: Adult mice were randomly allocated to1Gy?3Gy?5Gy group and0Gycontrol group (20mice in each group),each group of mice were given3mincorresponding dose of X-ray radiation once a day for3days. Pancreatic tissue wasused to prepare tissue section. Number of deaths and body weight was record.Thechanges of pancreas tissue structure were observed by optical microscope, the bloodwas perepared to serum, the changes of serum insulin content was determined withdouble antibody clip art method and pancreatic amylase enzyme total antioxidantcapacity and activity in serum was detected with colorimetric method. expression ofNF-KB was tetected with immunohistochemical.Results:1.The X-ray radiation lead mice to death and the body weight was effect by X-ray.pancreatic tissue swelling, the nucleus got bigger, cell degeneration necrosis(Figure1);The insulin content levels of1Gy radiation group was higher than the control groupmice after5-10days, significantly or extremely significant difference (P<0.05orP<0.01),but fell slightly in20days,3Gy and5Gy radiation mice insulin levelsdecreased compared with control group, significantly or extremely significantdifference(P<0.05or P<0.01),5Gy mice died by15days.2. X-ray radiation affects activities of amylase activity and the blood insulin contentin mice.1Gy radiation group amylase activity was close to control group(P?0.05),3Gy radiation group amylase activity was higher than the control group in mice,significantly or extremely significant difference(P<0.05or P<0.01),5Gy radiationgroup amylase activity decreased compared with the control group, extremelysignificant difference (P<0.01)?The blood insulin content levels of1Gy radiationgroup was higher than the control group mice after5-10days, significantly orextremely significant difference (P<0.05or P<0.01),but fell slightly in20days,3Gy and5Gy radiation mice insulin levels decreased compared with control group,significantly or extremely significant difference(P<0.05or P<0.01),5Gy mice died by15days.3. X ray radiation caused the pancreas NF-KB expression increase, The NF-KBexpression of1Gy radiation group has no significant changes compared with controlgroup. The NF-KB expression of3Gy radiation group and5Gy radiation group washigher than control group.4. X-ray radiation affects the blood total antioxidant capacity activities of mice. Thetotal antioxidant capacity activities of1Gy radiation group was higher than thecontrol group mice, significantly or extremely significant difference (P<0.05orP<0.01),3Gy and5Gy radiation mice blood total antioxidant capacity activitiesdecreased compared with control group, significantly or extremely significantdifference(P<0.05or P<0.01),5Gy mice died by15days.Conclusion:1. The X-ray cause weight loss in mice, mice death caused by high dose X-ray,Thismay be associated with X-ray affectting pancreatic digestive function2. Free radical produce by low dosage X-ray could activate the immune activity andimprove antioxidant-capability of tissue. So the activities of total antioxidant capacityin blood of the filial mice increased after irradiation. Free radical which produce bylarge dosage X-ray could not be eliminate timely will assault cell and cause damage totissue and activities of total antioxidant capacity in blood decreased.3. X-ray radiation can caused damage in mice pancreas organization structureappeared different degree injury, the greater radiation dose, the greater damage, itpresents the obvious dose effect relationship4. Low dose X-ray radiation cause not change significantly in mice serum insulinlevels, and high dose of X-ray radiation cause abnormal function of the pancreas,resulting in a decline in mice serum insulin levels.5. Low dose X-ray radiation change serum pancreatic amylase activity notsignificantly, and pancreatic tissue structure damage caused by high dose X-ray,andlead the presence inflammation, increase serum amylase activity.6. X-ray radiation cause NF-KB expression increased in pancreatic tissue, start the inflammation of the pancreas tissue signaling pathways, lead to abnormal function ofthe pancreas.
