Study On Tourism Resources Integration And Planning

Tourism resources are not sufficiently exploited and the driving effects of tourism industry are not fully developed, though tourism in China has obtained the substaintial development in recent years. Now, it’s undergoing a dramatical evolution. In order to realize the all-around, coordination, sustainable development and the competitiveness enhancement in tourism industry, many areas are speeding up the integration of tourist resources.On this background, the study object of the paper is tourism resources integration of Xinglong geopark in Hebei province. It summarized practical principles of tourism resources integration. In addition, while analyzing its current situation of the geopark, it also comprehensively evaluated the combination of resource types, fineness and classification of resources. Afterwards, it also carried out such condition analysis as, region traffic conditions, tourist market, the analysis of environmental construction and development appropriateness, the analysis of tourist business and industrial structure and the competition pattern analysis for nearby areas. According to the analysis of intrinsic as well as related factors, it made out the planning for tourism resources integration, including its development strategies and objectives, function distribution and layout of its sites, tourism image design and brand positioning, marketing and tourism industry elements, etc.The study methods include literature searching and reading, survey procedure, quantitative and qualitative analysis, contrastive analysis, SWOT analysis and so on. The purpose of this study is to fully integrate and utilize the rich resources of the area, as well as to build the core competition of the geopark. It is expected that Xinglong geopark would be developed to be a landmark of Chengde or even Hebei province, and therefore facilitate the extension of tourism and industrial chains. while protecting geological heritages and ecological environment, it can promote economic development, raise the living standards of local residents and the its overall tourism image.
