In recent years, environmental pollution, resource depletion, climate variability and other environmental issues caused widespread concern at home and abroad. On the one hand, unilateral pursuit of flat-out achievement pollutes the environment. On the other hand, many corporates lack environmental protection awareness. Corporates are an essential component of national economy, environmental issues are closely related to their operation and business activities. Nowadays, the environmental acts of enterprises are mostly due to constraints of national environmental policies and regulations, this passive attitude of obedience can’t play a good role to improve environmental performance. Corporate culture is an important factor which influences employees’ thought and behaviors, so it is necessary to study corporate environmental performance from the perspective of corporate culture to encourage corporates to fullfil social responsibility and improve their environmental performance.Based on the theory of corporate culture and corporate environmental, this study builds the relationship between corporate culture and corporate environmental performance, including three variables as corporate culture, corporate environmental performance and environmental management practices. The core of the model is the relationship between the corporate culture and corporate environmental performance, with the moderator of environmental management practices. In the part of empirical study, this research uses content analysis method converted 127 manufacturing enterprise culture into data. Then use the method of statistical analysis, verification the relationship between corporate culture and environmental performance. The results show that:(1) Two dimensions of corporate culture ethical-Social and emotional-development have a positive effect on corporate environmental performance, and economic-practical corporate culture doesn’t have a positive effect on corporate environmental performance.(2) Environmental management practices can moderate the relationship between corporate culture and corporate environmental performance. In the end, the study offered suggestions for organization management on corporate culture construction and environmental mangement practices.
