Research On The Green Management Evaluation Of Listed Coal Companies In China

The coal industry is the indispensable important component of national economy and social development, but with the resources and environment problem increasingly prominent, and the rise of green ideology, the operating environment of coal enterprises have changed tremendously. Up to their properties, Coal enterprises undertake great social responsibility, such as safety production, resources saving, environment protecting etc, thus they need to grab the economic benefit, meanwhile, harvest good ecological benefits and social benefits, operating green management in each link of the business activities. Current enterprise performance evaluation system has not effectively meet the real needs of the performance evaluation of the coal enterprises in our country, so the practice of green management will give the performance evaluation system new content and new method, it has great significance to guide the coal industry to reduce environmental pollution, protect the ecological environment, achieve health and sustainable development of economy society.This paper constructs the performance evaluation system of green management to 13 coal industry listed companies, using Factor Analysis Method to do data dimension reduction and then dealing with data by Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) method to evaluate green management on the basis of current situation and problems, and improving technology invalid companies through the analysis of slack variable. The final conclusion is as follows: first, China’s coal industry green management level is not high, it differs a lot in the industry. Second, some companies are not only technical efficiency invalid but also scale efficiency invalid. Third, Most of the coal enterprises in need of improvement is insufficient in material input, and the ecological performance output remains to be improved. At last this paper puts forward to improvement suggestions from enterprise itself, government and society.
