The Mechanism Of Information Technology Capability Affecting Firm Performance In Thailand

Now a day the situation under globalization rapidly changes. Technology becomes an importance source of the organization to gain the sustainable competitive advantage. This dissertation aims to study the mechanism of information technology capability affecting firm performance in Thailand. The purpose of this dissertation is to find out “How does the information technology capability affect firm performance in Thailand. And “what are the mediator and moderator in information technology capability affecting firm performance in Thailand. To answer these questions the researcher constructed the hypothesis model to investigate about the relationship of the information technology capability effect on firm performance. Moreover we also investigate about the role of mediator and moderator affect firm performance. In this study we employed knowledge stock and knowledge process to be a mediator and moderator respectively. In this study we used the questionnaire to do the survey, the data were collected from 52 industries firm in Thailand and we analyzed the data by using SPSS program. The analysis result showed that information technology capability has a positive effect on firm performance directly and indirectly via knowledge stock and knowledge process. In the same time the analysis result also showed that knowledge stock and knowledge process has a positive effect on firm performance Moreover we found that the organizational culture management plays a moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge stock, knowledge process and firm performance.
