The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is one of the seven strategic emerging industries in the “Twelfth Five Year’s Plan” and our government will firstly focus on its development. However, the development level of our country’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry still has a big gap compared with the developed countries in the world. And many enterprises and scholars believe that the low ability of technological innovation is the most important reason to restrict its development. So improving the technological innovation ability of related enterprises is an important measure to cultivate and develop our country’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry. As the core force of enterprise’s technological innovation, the innovation team plays an important role in promoting enterprise’s technological innovation. So strengthening constantly the construction of the innovation team members’ competency will effectively improve the technological innovation ability of enterprise. Therefore, this paper studies the problem of individual advantage identification of innovation team members in high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises. According to effec tive identification and evaluation on members’ competency, and then creating a highly complementary and efficient innovation team, constantly improving the competency level of innovation team, eventually promoting the success of enterprise’s technological innovation.Firstly, this paper describes the research status of three aspects, including high-end equipment manufacturing industry, the competency of innovation team and individual advantage identification through literature analysis. And then this paper introduces the research content, research method, research structure and relevant theoretical basis.Secondly, by combining the characteristics of high-end equipment manufacturing industry with the theory of technological innovation, this paper determines the technological innovation-oriented dimension of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises. According to requirements of the technological innovation-oriented dimension, this paper proposes 32 competency indexes of innovation team in high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises through literature analysis, behavior event interview and expert opinion. Then this paper makes a questionnaire and does a survey on innovation team members of the relevant enterprises. Through factors analysis of the date, this paper eventually determines the technological innovation-oriented competency indexes of innovation team, and it provides a scientific standard to identify and value individual advantage of team members.Thirdly, given that there is not effective scientific measure to identify individual advantages of team members. According to the idea of goal programming, this paper puts forward a model of individual advantage identification of innovation team’s competency based on high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises, and this method can evaluate competency level from the perspective of reflecting the advantages of evaluated person. At last, the validity of the model is proved by an example.Finally, according to research result, this paper introduces the specific application of the individual advantage model of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises’ innovation team in the human resource management system, and proposes some relevant advice. In practice, it provides a scientific guiding significance for the construction of innovation team of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises in our country.
