A Survey On Assembly Line Balancing Of Manufacturing Haier Leader Electric Heater Based On Lean Thinking

Evolution and change in today’s market has tended to be personalized and diversified and the traditional high volume production mode presents many weaknesses. Lean manufacturing, which is suitable for multispecies and low-volume production, gets more attention and applications from enterprises and causes many scholars to explore and research it. Lean manufacturing has formed a relatively perfect system. However, considering the respective situations and different environment faced by different enterprises, different methods should be used during the implementation of lean manufacturing. How to carry out the lean production mode in the enterprises successfully and effectively is still the focus of many scholars and experts.The paper aims to study assembly line balancing, lean manufacturing and relative theories and methods. Combining with the real experience of implementing lean manufacturing in Hair Water Heater Co., Ltd, the paper presents that balanced production plays an important role in lean manufacturing implementation. Successful implementation of balanced production will make the whole lean manufacturing process get twice the result with half the effort. As for the imbalance status of process cycle time in assembly line, lean production methods can help to eliminate unnecessary action. Following the principle of balancing rhythm processes, we can adjust the contents of working procedure, formulat operation standard, improve the worker’s operation skill, enhance the assembly line production can make each process cycle time of assembly line the same. By analyzing the related parameters before and after the balancing, the methods have made certain improvement effect and improved the production ability of assembly line. Through actual application examples has proven balanced production mode can minimizes WIP, improves production efficiency and make rapid response to market demand.This paper aims to make the enterprises focus on balanced production in lean manufacturing, to provide them a new perspective on lean production implementation and guide implement lean manufacturing in domestic enterprises.
