Research On Social Security For Land-lost Farmers In The Process Of New Urbanization Of Henan

Referring to the eighteen big reports of the party, to solve the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers is the party’s priority work, the integration of urban and rural development is the essential methods to solve this problem, we should to further promote the urbanization construction. With the promoting of urbanization, a large-scale of farmland is expropriated, produced a growing number of landless peasants. For China farmers, the land is very important, it’s their job and the most basic life security. At present, China’s land expropriation system is not perfect, and the resettlement of landless peasants is not very good, landless farmers has become the "three noes" of farmers, namely: no farming land, no job, no insurance. Henan is a province with a large population, the number of farmers is very big, in the process of urbanization in Henan produced a large number of landless peasants. Landless farmers problems caused by the decline in the quality of life is becoming more and more prominent, so take active measures to deal with the social security of landless peasants are important to maintain social stability and the construction of new urbanization.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance, the literature review of previous research and the train of thought, method of this research and innovation, and the concept of new urbanization, the meaning and characteristics of landless peasants, the connotation of sustainable livelihoods and social security system. Then through the questionnaire and in-depth interview method to know Henan landless farmers living conditions. Then use the SPSS for life satisfaction regression analysis, and find out economic income, land compensation social security and so on are the key factors which influence the landless peasants’ life satisfaction. Finally, from the perspective of the theory of sustainable livelihoods constructing the social security system for landless peasants from the minimum life security, medical security, social security and employment security. And from the aspects of financial capital, social capital, human capital and the government function put forward some suggestions on the social security system of landless peasants in the process of new urbanization.
