With the development of economic globalization and information technology, the competition between industries and corporations is becoming increasingly fierce. Many corporations are unable to adapt to the internal and external environment of the various changes in the fierce market competition in difficulties. China as the main player of the world economy, a rising star in the global economy.In order to develop and become stronger, first of all Chinese corporations need to develop themselves first, especially for the corporation’s competitiveness. In the creation and promotion of corporation competitiveness, the choice of corporation competition strategy is to enhance its competitive advantages, especially the core competitiveness which is the key of success. At the same time, the choice of the corporation competition strategy is influenced by the life cycle of the corporation. As China is now in the stage of rapid economic development, most of large corporations have problems in lack of independent intellectual property rights, outstanding in their main industry, their core competitiveness. And for those small and medium private corporations in our country, the problem is more prominent. Most of their technical capability is weak, the technology adaption in their product is much less, along with the intense market competition, those small and medium-sized private corporation have exposed those weakness and problems gradually.How to improve the competitiveness of corporations has become one of the important issues to be considered in the process of corporation survival and development. Thetheory and practice prove that the key to improve the competitiveness of corporations is to establish and cultivate the core competence. As a new management thought and strategy, the application and research of the core competence is becoming more and more important, and it has become the hottest research object of the experts and scholars. Therefore, how the corporation choose their own competitive strategy in according to the internal and external market environment characteristics to achieve the purpose of enhancing its competitiveness has drawn more and more attention and concern in different industries.This thesis has included 3 different chapters to analyze the problems and puts forward the solution to the problem, and puts forward the research and analysis on the core competitiveness of the market focus strategy based on Company A. Firstly, generate the literature review base on summary of the relevant theory include the background of corporation life cycle theory, the core competitiveness theory and the theory of corporation competitive strategy,derive of the concept for those 3 different theories. And then to analyze the case of Company A for their marketing competitiveness strategy and to find out problems mainly in their market strategy and R&D. Finally, through the overall analysis and evaluation of Company A’s market competitiveness strategy in according to it’s operation and management situation in combine with it’s industry and market environment to figure out in the process of market competition, Company A has faced a lot of problem and difficulties due to not carrying out a systematic analysis base on it’s stage of corporation development and current situation, lack of professional market positioning and especially for building up and raise of core competence. Focus strategy in cultivating core competence are implemented as solutions which aresuggested to improve and solve the problem.Take the cost leadership and differentiation strategy to enhance the core technology and training important technical talents to establish and cultivate the core competitiveness of corporations, and enhance the competitiveness of corporations.This thesis is based on the industry & market structure analysis of corporation competitive strategy theory, take corporation life cycle theory as the organization research framework, through the actual case analysis on Company A’s core competitiveness to discuss in enhancing the core competitiveness of corporations, especially for the strategy in the niche market and hoping to set a certain theoretical guidance and reference for corporations in the same industry to enhance their own competitive advantage by selecting the appropriate market competition strategy...
