Empirical Analysis Of The Urbanization Development Level In Xinjiang And Absorbing Efficiency To Labor Migration

This paper combined qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,in order to research interaction between the urbanization development level in Xinjiang and labor migration,focused on quantitative analysis of urbanization development level and absorbing efficiency to labor migration,finally provide advice to Xinjiang labor migration.In the side of qualitative analysis,this paper summarized the theory of urbanization and labor transfer home and abroad.First,expounded China and Xinjiang urbanization development current.Then,expounded China and Xinjiang labor migration current.In the side of quantitative analysis,this paper used improved entropy method,build an evaluation system to measure urbanization development level.The evaluation system included economic index,social index,population quality and the living standards index and environmental quality index.This paper used the evaluation system calculate urbanization development level in Xinjiang and major prefectures with index measure the relative urbanization level.The study found,major prefecture urbanization level show a steady improvement trend in the year of2009-2014..Xinjiang urbanization development level steadily rise in recent years.population quality and the living standards and environmental quality index become more and more important in this evaluation system,which reveals the development of urbanization in Xinjiang pay more attention to improve the level of population quality,living standards and environment quality. Furthermore,this paper used data envelopment analysis,based on BCC variable returns to scale model,analyzed urbanization development level to absorb the labor transfer efficiency.The results shows that Xinjiang on the DEA production frontier,towns to absorb rural labor reached the relative size and relatively effective technology effectively at the same time,overall efficiency achieved 100%.However,rural migrant labors becomes a small number every year in Xinjiang.Xinjiang is in a status on theDEA production frontier in low standard. Towns to absorb labor efficiency in most prefectures appear big fluctuation.Finally,according to the result of empirical analysis,this paper provide advice to how to improve rural labor transfer efficiency in Xinjiang.
