Research On Qingdao’s Efficiency Of The Combination Of Technology And Finance

Science—technology is the primary productive force, finance is the primary driver of modern economy, the efficiency of combine of the two will have an impact on economics. Qingdao City is the core of Shandong Blue Peninsula Economic Zone, has become a national science—finance pilot cities in 2012. However, efficiency of the combine of technology and finance of Qingdao still has many problems. Therefore, the study of the efficiency of the combine of technology and finance to improve the economy level of Qingdao even blue peninsula economic zone is of great significance.In this paper, the author has used material checking method, quantitative analysis and comparative analysis, to analysis and summarize the content. Introducing briefly about the essence of the efficiency of the combine of technology and finance, the methods of measuring the efficiency, the author chooses the DEA method to study. According to the index selection principle, constructing index that affect efficiency of the combine of science and finance of Qingdao, using entropy right law to measure and record the indications of input and output that have an effect on the efficiency of Qingdao city, then using DEA analysis method, to measure the efficiency of Qingdao and remaining cities, finally choosing Technological Funds/GDP, Local Financial Technological Funds/Local Financial Expenditure as input indications, Famous Brands Per Million People, Technological Goods Export Income/Goods Export Income as output indications. Using DEA method to measure Qingdao and the other 19 cities, results shows: efficiency of the combine of technology and finance of Qingdao ranks 18, technical efficiency is 0.587, lower than average level 0.718, that means the efficiency of Qingdao is on a low level in the nation, the efficiency of Qingdao is low. Therefore, how to improve the combine efficiency of Qingdao, suggestions should be made by actual development of Qingdao City.
