With the development of information technology, information technology integrates with production more closely. More and more information software is applied to enterprise management to improve their management level. X Company had been aware of the tremendous role of informatization and had started up various information systems from the time the company was founded. With the rapid expansion of the company, these systems are starting to show the disadvantages and have been unable to keep pace with the needs of the development. Further improvement of the level of informatization has become an urgent issue.This paper is based on the studying of the informatization situation of X Company. After researching the problems and the company’s actual demands, the paper ensures the significance of implementing ERP again. Re-using ERP system should continue using the old K3 system or choose another ERP system. After detailed analysis, the paper provided the conclusion to use the old K3 system and update it.This paper begins with the integration of information systems existed before. After analyzing the company’s actual condition, a detailed implementation plan of the ERP has been made. While using the ERP system, the workflow used before need to be recomposed. This paper uses BPR theory to analyze the old workflow and improve it. The paper analyses the demand of the secondary development which is necessary in the process of updating K3 system and develops information systems based on the Access. By using the ERP system again, integrating the old information system, and secondary development, the pre-existing problems have been solved, and the management efficiency has been improved, which have met the requirement of development. In addition the entire mode can serve as inspiration for other similar types of companies.
