| With the acceleration of urbanization and the challenge of economic globalization, in twenty-first Century, in the context of economic globalization and regional integration, the city in the capital, technology, personnel, visibility and other aspects is facing fierce competition. Due to the increasingly fierce competition between cities, urban management consciousness to the original concept of urban development has been unable to meet the need of reality, urban management pattern began by to the management of social affairs as the center to urban competitiveness promotion as the center to carry on the transformation, the implementation of city marketing has become the inevitable choice to realize the rapid urban development and upgrading. Using the concept and method of marketing management, the choice of marketing strategy, which is suitable for the development of the city, is a very important theoretical value and practical signify-cance for the investors, tourists and residents as customers or consumers.This paper introduces the concept of urban marketing into the construction development of Yuelai new city. Through city marketing results in five city functions of international business, convention and exhibition, cultural and creative, recreation, and livable ecotype by using SWOT, PEST analysis of the city marketing environment and the surrounding areas. While in terms of industrial layout, institutional mechanisms, policy, investment, finance, and infrastructure construction, the safeguard measures of city marketing strategy is propsed. |
