The rise of equestrian sport, horse industry and horse products reflects that the horse industry is playing an important role in the development of social economy. With the spectacular growth in today’s science,technology and international economic globalization, horse industry got it’s own special meaning. With the establishing and perfecting of our socialism market economic system, some new demands are placed upon horse industry. According to the fundamental theory of socialist market economy, we should quicken the horse industry’s modernization process and promote the development of it by using the market as guide, and the technology as power. Studying the horse industry is actually meeting the need of economic development. It influencing the villagers and nomads’ income in some aspects. Horse industry prospers the economy in ethnic areas and promotes the economic development, and also the peace and stability of the frontier.Horse is one of the main livestocks northern part of China. It spread over Inner Mongolia, NE China, North China and Northwest region. Mongolia horse make up more up more than 25% of the total number of the horses in China. The Inner Mongolia posturing area is the main producing area of Mongolia horses. Of which, Xilin Gol League possessing an abundant resources for horse industry. The city Xilinhot located in the central region of Xilin Gol pasturing area, and it’s grassland area reached a number of 13.898.94 square kilometers. It has a long history of breeding horses with variety of kinds. Such as Xilin Gol horse, Mongolia horse, Karbardinskaya, and English thoroughbred. According to the annual statistics of stock husbandry, we can see that the horse inventory account for about one percent of other livestocks, and it’s production value is account for 15% of the total number of stock market. While the modern life style is influencing the nomads’ enthusiasm for breeding horses in some way. So that the demands of horse have been reduced. It’s obvious that we didn’t take good use of our resources of horse legitimately. So, we need to plan and develop our horse industry legitimately, and improve our regional economy at the same time.Through the research in my paper, we found that developing horse industry in Xilin Gol is meeting the need of constructing big ethnic cultural region. Horse industry can promote the economic development and the other industrial development. It will promote the provincial economy as well. Besides it’s function of promoting the provincial economy, it also promote the local people’s living standard, and satisfy their need for spiritual and cultural life.After the analysis of the development of inland horse industry, we consider that the horse industry in Xilin Gol not only falling behind the developed countries, but also behind the same area of inland. The conclusion of analyzing the problems of horse industry in Xilin Gol revealed several main reasons as follows:first, the horse industry in Xilin Gol doesn’t getting enough of the support from government. Second, it has a low level of industrialization. Third, it’s facilities technique is fall behind. Last one is that it’s protection of variety breeding is not good enough. In this paper, we gave several advices for the problems mentioned before. Our advices are also given to the places have the same problems of horse industry. |
