The changes of the number and structure of global population has brought many changes of the business environment of pharmaceutical enterprises. In order to cope with these changes such as the changes in market access, growth of drug development and business model as well as the patient-centered transformation, multiple business challenges of generic competition and the maintaining of the long-term competitiveness of organizations, companies need to establish sustainable talent advantages. Based on the observation, K Pharmaceutical Company must establish a talent management system with a guarantee of sufficient number of high-quality talents to support the implementation of the company’s strategy, which is determined as the strategic priority of K Pharmaceutical Company.This essay takes K Pharmaceutical Company as the research object, analyzing its current situation and problems of talent management from the perspective of corporate strategy based on the theoretical researches of Talent and Talent Management, Competency Model, Competency Assessment, Competency Development, Total Compensation Package, Talent strategy and business strategy. The essay helps the organization establishing the methodology of effectively identifying, developing and retaining talents, forming a comprehensive Talent Management System through the design of Talent Competency Standard, Talent Evaluation, Talent Decision Making, Talent Development, Talent Retention, solving the challenge brought by the needs of quantitative and qualitative talents with the purpose of supporting the implementation of company strategy fundamentally, providing beneficial reference for companies needed construction of Talent Management System at the meantime.
