Study On The Urbanization Quality Of Economic Circle Of The Capital City Group In Shandong Province

As a strategic platform for the rise of the central region and the new engine of economic development and growth poles, studying urbanization quality of economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong province contributes to promote the reasonable development of this region, urban and rural harmonious development. Based on the strategic position in the economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong Province, the purpose of this paper aims to how to evaluate the quality of urbanization in this area through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis. At the same time, there are a series of problems, such as too much emphasis on quantity while ignoring quality in the development process of urbanization.Starting from the urbanization mechanism theory, new urbanization theory and the metropolitan theory, referring advanced experience and theoretical results urbanization quality of research at home and abroad, this paper defines the concept of urbanization and urbanization quality and analyzes achievements and problems of urbanization in economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong province in order to explore an evaluation system of urbanization quality to conducting horizontal variance analysis and temporal evolution analysis. In particular, 2005-2014 as the time range, this paper selects three indicators(dynamic urbanization, ecological urbanization, harmonious urbanization) affecting the urbanization quality of economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong Province as the criterion layer, eight secondary indexes as base layer. Based on the panel data, first using PCA-RA to optimize the index system to exclude the lower contribution rate five indicators, the weight of excess 15 indexes are determined by using revising entropy method through MATLAB7.0 and EXCEL2010. Thus calculate the total score of various cities to conduct intra-regional difference analysis. Meanwhile, the average score calculated by various cities’ urbanization quality score is used to measure the overall situation in this circle. Timely, from the angel of time, the urbanization quality presents a rising trend during 2005-2014 in economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong province. Quality of urbanization in this area exists administrative level and imbalances, so it can be divided into three types: Jinan, the high quality area; Zibo, the medium quality area; Tai’an, Laiwu, Dezhou, Liaocheng, Binzhou, the low quality area.Finally, based on the conclusions of empirical analysis, and approaching to the regional differences of economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong province, the overall strategy and regional promotion strategies are proposed to enhance the urbanization quality of economic circle of the capital city group in Shandong province, narrow down regional differences and promote the coordinated development of regional urbanization.
