The rise in recent years, with the advanced manufacturing industry, the Internet financial and productive service, a new batch of MakerSpaces, such as innovation works and HackerSpaces, provides an important place for the rise of Emerging industries. Governments at all levels in the country are actively creating a rich local characteristics of the Makerspace. Various enterprises in different forms, different ways to participate in the construction and cultivation of the Makerspace, and strive to create development model of the Makerspace to innovation pattern of sustainable development.Through the perspective of the innovation model and entrepreneurial ecosystem theory, this paper combined the success of a typical case based on the Makerspace hit the city of Shanghai, to analyze the Makerspace development pattern and development mechanism; and deeply studied the development of the innovation ecosystem in the Makerspace to reveal the geography regularity of the development of the Makerspace; and the influence of the development of regional innovation and entrepreneurship environment, to puts forward some pertinent suggestions for the future development of the Makerpace.The first part is the first chapter and the second chapter, which is the methodology of the whole thesis, including the research background, research significance, research framework and literature review. The first chapter is the introduction, which is based on the research background and significance of this article, combing the context of the article, establishing the research goal and content, research methods and framework, and possible innovation points. The second chapter is literature review, based on the literature review, sorted out the related theory and literature, including the following three aspects:the public record mode, regional entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystem. And this chapter sort out the study of foreign venture incubator and other Makerspace, to understand its development model.The second part is the third chapter and the fourth chapter, it is an empirical analysis of the development model of the Makerspace in Shanghai. The third chapter is the analysis of the present situation of the Makerspace in Shanghai, analysis development mechanism and influencing factors,from the distribution characteristics, development model and the development process of the Makerspace in Shanghai. The fourth chapter is a sub topic of empirical analysis of the Makerspace in Shanghai. Through the field research of I-Cube,5Icenter, Neobay, we further analysed the its spatial characteristics and development mechanism.The third part is the fifth chapter, the thesis is summarized, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the future development of the Makerspace.Through the research, this paper draws the following conclusions:The Makerspace in Shanghai gradually developed,which is mainly relying on the incubator, the high-tech industrial park, creative industrial park.
