Present Situation Countermeasures Of Inner Mongolia Wuchuan County Potato Industry Development

Inner Mongolia Wuchuan county is one of the country’s potato producing area with high-quality products, and its products had been used exclusively for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The Wuchuan county has a unique natural conditions, the soil source and favorable policy, so the Wuchuan potato planting area is far greater than the other crop area. The potato has become the main source of income of the farmers. However, due to various reasons, Wuchuan county potato industry is still uneven development, high quality seed use is not comprehensive and the marketing channel is not smooth and other issues. This paper, from Wuchuan county situation, pay particular attention to the strategic status of potato production and increase farmers’ income, and discusses the necessity of the development of the potato industry to improve product quality and nutrition. At the same time, the advantages of the development of the potato industry in Wuchuan county had been described. Focus on the investigating and analyzing of the potato production, processing,marketing and use of detoxification of potatoes, accurately and carefully put forward the existing problems in the development of the potato industry. Discussing process with scientific and technical personnel, experienced planting large, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures, in order to guide farmers to really grow with scientific methods, improve the yield and quality of the potato products.
