With the continuous development of restaurant chain enterprise, and the increasing food material distribution demand, the restaurant chain enterprise pay more attention to the importance of food distribution. On the one hand, Influenced by traditional ideas, a large scale of chain enterprise choose self-built food material distribution team, however, self-built logistics distribution exist some problems, such as large investment cost, low utilization rate of facilities, More important is that enterprise scale is small, which can’t play scale effect, core competitiveness of enterprise will be blocked for resource scatter. on the other hand, If the restaurant chain enterprise choose the third party logistics service, which will generate high transaction costs, and the service quality is also not stable, more important, the risk of outsourcing is also exist. In such cases, it is particularly important to select the appropriate distribution business operation mode.On the background of that, the thesis analysis from two aspects, considering so many indexes influence decision of outsource. one from the total cost, this paper, based on considering the restaurant chain food distribution before and after the outsourcing of logistics activities, carry out a series of analysis. firstly, this paper analyze the cost of self-distribution, and also research the cost of outsourcing distribution, thirdly, from the perspective of the total cost, build respectively the cost model of self-distribution and the cost model of outsourcing distribution. The last, considering the time value of money, the paper build the model of distribution outsourcing decision based on cost in the several years, finally, by solving the model, the paper will get the critical point of self-distribution and outsourcing. On the other hand, establish decision model based on FAHP, take strategy, operation cost, distribution service quality and risk of distribution operation into consideration, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, to provide scientific reference for problem solving.In addition to the above content, this paper takes A restaurant chain as an example for empirical study. On one hand, through collation and analysis of relative cost and distribution demand data, With the solution of the cost model, the paper get the critical point about A restaurant chain. On the other hand, according to the actual condition of the enterprise and the result of cost model, determining evaluation index of distribution outsourcing decision, through application of decision-making model for distribution of FAHP, the paper found the result of model is consistent with current operating status of the enterprise.show the cost model is reasonable, and provides reference for the further development of enterprises.
