In this paper, the A company aluminum wafer project was taken as an example, the project’s basement, social benefits, economic benefits, environmental benefits and risk management have been analyzed by using the knowledge and theory of project management based on the relevant information, combing with the company and domestic and global industry development status. The aim is to present some guidelines for the promotion of the procedure of project commencing.The paper was arranged as following, the first chapter mainly introduces the background of the project and the purpose and significance of the considered project, and explains the contents and methods of the research. Chapter two presents the overview of A company aluminum wafer development project. The third chapter includes analysis of financial and economic benefit for A company aluminum wafer projects. Chapter four evaluates the risk of the A company aluminum wafer project, and provides risk prevention countermeasures. The fifth chapter makes some conclusion and provides some suggestions.The analysis the economic and social benefits of the project by using project management theory combined with the actual, engineering economics method, and the classify risk of the project and preventive measures, draws the following conclusion: the development and construction of the project affected by national energy-saving and environmental protection industry policy. The project fills the gaps in the relevant industrial area of the province. By making full use of the existing production process, it expands the scope of the market for enterprises, improves its competitiveness, create apparent economic benefits, and gets significant social benefits.
