Status And Research Of Agricultural Technology Extension In Xuzhou

Agricultural technology extension is a bridge between agricultural education research and farmers,a bond between farmers and government.Besides, it plays a important role in agricultural development.Agricultural technology extension plays a positive part in promoting agricultural production technology.It transforms the farmers’values,attitude and behavior.Agricultural technology extension is a good way to promote the transformation of agriculture technological achievement.It improves efficiency of the agricultural production and management.It improves the quality of life and living environment in rural areas.It raises the level of agricultural production condition.It stimulates the development of rural areas.It enforces the rules of agricultural plans,approach and measure.Agricultural technology extension plays a indispensable part in modern agricultural civilization,politics economy and culture.The methods including document collection, interview, questionnaire investigation, On-the-spot investigation, and statistical analysis were used in the paper. The successful mode and experience of f agricultural technology extension of developed countries were studied in the world, those in China were studied also. The current status and problems of agricultural technology extension of Xuzhou were analyzed.The main strategies to improve the levels and abilities of agricultural technology extension of Xuzhou were put forward, and the new model of technology extension to adapt actual situation of agriculture development in Xuzhou was suggested, in order to improve the effectiveness of agricultural, and promote Xuzhou agriculture development.Adopt the service modes are " firms, universities and research" mode, "project leads" mode,"AGR-technology park" mode,"enterprise + farmers" mode,"farming cooperatives" mode. There are some problems including extension organization’s duties are unclear, inner organization institutes set unreasonable,the fund of extension is inadequate, information service network construction lag, and extension personnel quality is generally low. A new model of gricultural technology extension mode is suggested, the multiple concentric fisheries technology extension system is put forward, the investment in gricultural technology extension should be increased, the propaganda should be strengthed,a developed agriculture information network should be established.
